How to get your Marriage License

Marriage License Requirements

There is a link below that will take you directly to the Collier County or Lee County Clerk's office websites.

In order to get your marriage license to hold a wedding from the county clerks office you must be 18 years old.
The couple must both appear in person to obtain a license
You must have a valid I.D. with the date of birth and photo must be provided (driver’s license, passport, etc.)
For Florida Residents Only there is a three (3) day waiting period from the date of the marriage license issuance. This requirement may be waived if you choose to attend a premarital class and present a certificate of attendance to the marriage clerk at the time of application.
If previously married, all that is required is the month and year of termination of the marriage.
Licenses are issued immediately and must be used within 60 days from the date of issue
The cost for a Florida marriage license is $93.50.
There is a REDUCED FEE for Florida residents who elect the PREMARITAL class. A list of course providers can be found on the county clerk website.
